no more tears sister

There is a rather new documentary film about the family-tragedy of Tamils in Sri Lanka during the 1980s and is specifically about the life and times of a Tamil human rights activist, called Rajani Thiranagama who was assassinated allegedly about the Tigers. It is one of few artpieces that do not needlessly romanticize the conflict or the Tigers as pure freedom fighters, but instead depicts them as intolerant of political dissent or alternative voice as the Sinhalese government. Oh, what a world Sri Lanka? The narration is done by Michael Ondaatje.
